2016 – A Collective Spirit of Service

The 2016 gathering in Kolkata honored those who chose to walk together in service. Through the Mother Teresa International Awards, we celebrated community-led efforts—self-help groups, neighborhood clinics, youth collectives—proving that lasting change often begins at the grassroots. These were not solitary journeys but movements of many hands, many hearts, and one shared mission: to uplift the most vulnerable.
