All India Minorities and Weaker Section Council
The All India Minorities and Weaker Sections Council (AIMWSC) was founded in 1991 by Arun Anthony Biswas, a man inspired by the tireless compassion and humility of Mother Teresa. What began as a humble initiative to support the voiceless and vulnerable has today grown into a beacon of hope for countless individuals across India.
At AIMWSC, we believe that true service is rooted in love—a love that sees no religion, caste, language, or border. Guided by this belief, we dedicate ourselves to the upliftment of minorities, marginalized communities, and the socially and economically underprivileged.

Arun Anthony Biswas – A Life Changed by a Letter of Purpose
In celebration of humanity’s highest virtue—selfless love—we established the Mother Teresa International Awards. These awards are not merely honors; they are a tribute to those who serve with silence, courage, and grace. Individuals and organizations from across the globe are recognized not for their fame, but for their faith in humanity.
The awards uphold Mother Teresa’s legacy—recognizing the ones who wipe tears, feed the hungry, teach the forgotten, and bring light to the darkest corners of our world.
Inspired by Mother Teresa, Driven by Compassion
Honoring Hearts That Serve,
Celebrating Lives That Inspire.
The Mother Teresa International Awards, organized by the All India Minority and Weaker Sections Council, are rooted in the values of compassion, service, and humanity that Mother Teresa so profoundly embodied. Established to honor individuals and organizations making a meaningful social impact, the Council ensures that her legacy continues to inspire positive change across the globe.
With a deep commitment to humanitarian efforts, the Council carefully selects honorees who exemplify selfless dedication to social causes, uplift the underprivileged, and work toward building a more compassionate and inclusive world. From grassroots changemakers to global leaders in philanthropy, each awardee reflects the timeless values of love, empathy, and service that defined Mother Teresa’s life.
Through this initiative, the Council not only recognizes extraordinary contributions but also nurtures a global movement of kindness, unity, and altruism, ensuring that Mother Teresa’s mission lives on through every act of goodness.
